Job purpose
coordinate and implement training strategies that ensure the development of critical technical skills for personnel—in safety, health, environment, quality, continuous improvement, and processes—from induction to ongoing professional development, aligning training with business objectives and regulatory compliance.
main responsibilities
* diagnosis and planning: coordinate the identification, analysis, and prioritization of training needs at the organizational level, considering both technical and behavioral competencies.
* incorporate critical aspects related to safety, occupational health, environment, quality, food safety, continuous improvement, and processes into the annual training plan.
* align training activities with strategic plans, and with current policies and regulations.
* implementation: coordinate the execution of the annual training program, ensuring training coverage from new employee onboarding to updates resulting from organizational changes or new projects.
* manage the delivery of essential courses in critical areas, guaranteeing compliance with legal and corporate requirements.
* coordinate and develop internal and external instructors, reviewing content, materials, schedules, and assessments, ensuring the pedagogical and technical quality of training activities.
* manage the complete logistics of training events (invitations, materials, attendance, registration, evaluation, and administrative closure).
* evaluation, monitoring, and continuous improvement: evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using indicators of performance, learning transfer, and regulatory compliance. Analyze results and propose improvements to enhance the efficiency and effect of training programs. Maintain up-to-date training records and evidence required for internal and external audits.
* promote learning projects, encouraging a culture of improvement and the development of internal talent.
* administrative management and supplier relations: manage the training budget and control expenses, invoicing, and payments to suppliers. Evaluate and select training providers and institutions, verifying their technical suitability and compliance with quality and safety requirements. Ensure documentation and compliance with corporate policies regarding safety and sustainability during training activities.
* be a contact person in case of audits, keep training records updated, and document corrective actions.
* training: provide training for new hires and those changing departments, covering basic and general topics, based on identified specific needs. Ensure training for trainers, both regarding their pedagogical and the preparation of training materials.
you will report to the operations manager and work on‑site at the manufacturing site in pedro escobedo, querétaro. Relocation allowance will be provided.
academic background
* bachelor's degree in psychology, business administration, industrial engineering, education, or related fields.
* desirable knowledge of organizational learning, quality management, or talent development.
* advanced level of english.
professional experience
* at least 3 years of experience in training, development, or organizational learning.
* verifiable experience designing and implementing training plans and with technical areas (safety, quality, environment).
* proficiency in both in‑person and online training methodologies.
