Aboutthe rolewe are seeking a payroll domain expert with deep expertise in mexican payroll regulations and seguro social (imss) to support the development, implementation, and compliance of our payroll saas platform.this role bridges business, compliance, and technology, ensuring our payroll solutions remain accurate, compliant, and scalable for the mexican market.the ideal candidate is bilingual (spanish–english), highly knowledgeable in local payroll processes, and comfortable collaborating with product managers, developers, qa teams, and customer-facing stakeholders.key responsibilitiesact as the subject matter expert (sme) for mexican payroll, imss, infonavit, isr, and related labor obligations.translate complex payroll and social security regulations into functional requirements for engineering and product teams.collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure payroll calculations, contributions, and reports align with mexican legal and regulatory requirements.validate payroll logic, calculations, and edge cases during design, testing, and release cycles.stay current with changes from imss, sat, consar, infonavit, and labor laws, proactively assessing affect the platform.support customer success, sales, and implementation teams by providing domain guidance for complex payroll scenarios.review, document, and improve payroll workflows and compliance processes.participate in audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory updates relevant to payroll operations in mexico.required qualifications5+ years of hands-on experience in mexican payroll processing.strong, practical knowledge of:imss payroll reporting and calculationsisr, uma, sbc, sdiinfonavit and fonacot contributionslabor law (lft) payroll impactsexperience working with payroll software or saas platforms (implementation, configuration, or design).proven ability to communicate payroll concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.bilingual proficiency in spanish and english (oral and written).strong analytical and documentation skills.niceto haveexperience working directly with payroll or hr saas product teams.background as a payroll consultant, implementation specialist, or product sme.familiarity with agile development environments.experience supporting multinational clients or us–mexico payroll operations.knowledge of cfdi payroll and sat integrations.#j-*-ljbffr
