The regional opex engineer is responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes and systems to ensure quality products are delivered to customers in a timely and cost-efficient manner. They collaborate with various departments to optimize production processes and implement continuous improvements.key responsibilities:- facilitate the deployment of the moen opex strategy to elevate 3 q6 s across the region
* utilizing the nex-5 deployment of 3 q6 s to drive optimization to achieve improvements in factory margin, product delivery performance, employee safety and engagement.
* support 3 q6 s official audit, self-assessment and calibration to identify performance gaps. Works through the leadership team to prioritize improvement activities and close gaps.
* proactively supports plants lean strategies and execution/monitoring methodologies for the continuous improvement portion of the strategic business plan, including growth, cost out and cultural change plans.
* be a 'go-to' point of support for the plant leadership teams, support business strategy development and operational execution of business plans
* support plant managers on organizational design and development of a daily management system to support and sustain operational excellence
* partner with the plant managers to assess, select and develop talent, as well as mentoring and assisting individuals.
* assist in improvement activities including training, mentoring, facilitating kaizen events, workshops, projects, tool deployment, benchmarking, etc.
* develop training material and workshops to teach lean tools
