Paystand technical product manager

responsibilities:

* work with key stakeholders and client personnel to understand and translate broad business goals and user pain points into detailed requirements
* develop user stories and map process flows to support the design and development of software solutions for diverse enterprise companies
* prioritize features based on business value and development effort
* plan deployment and rollout of functionality to users in collaboration with client stakeholders and lamina team
* identify and address process pain points during the sdlc
* add to, groom, and assist in continuously refining product backlogs within an agile/scrum team environment
* track development team milestones using project/product lifecycle management software
* partner with senior product managers to shape and execute the erp integrations roadmap, balancing short‑term delivery with long‑term scalability
* analyze erp best practices and customer usage patterns to identify opportunities for workflow enhancements and product optimization
* define and document product requirements that support scalable, reusable integration frameworks across multiple erp systems
* develop and propose a technical strategy to scale erp integrations by 10x, in collaboration with engineering, architecture, and platform teams
* act as a cross‑functional leader, aligning roadmap priorities with input from sales, support, implementation, and customer success teams
* prioritize feature delivery based on impact, effort, and alignment with business goals, ensuring the greatest value for customers and internal stakeholders
* collaborate with go‑to‑market teams to ensure readiness for new erp features and provide enablement resources to drive adoption
* track and report on integration performance, customer satisfaction, and support impact, using data to inform future development priorities
* stay current on erp ecosystem changes and trends to proactively guide product direction and customer communications

qualifications:

* bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience required
* product firm/financial services experience preferred
* 3‑5+ years of experience working in a technical business analyst or product management capacity, supporting sdlc teams and feature releases
* well‑versed in authoring business/technical requirements and high‑quality user stories with the ability to analyze, understand, and prioritize business problems
* experience working in an agile/scrum sprint‑based environment with a deep understanding of methodology concepts, techniques, and ceremonies
* proficient in the use of pm tools like jira for managing and tracking scrum projects
* ability to multi‑task and demonstrate a strong desire to take on new tasks and learn new things
* strong written and oral communication, analytical skills, and problem‑solving capability
* ability to travel internationally on an as‑needed basis

this full‑time hybrid role based in guadalajara, jal, involves overseeing product strategy, roadmap definition, and management of product life cycles from ideation to launch. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross‑functional teams, gathering and analyzing user feedback, prioritizing product features, and ensuring alignment with business goals. The role also involves monitoring product performance and identifying opportunities for enhancement and innovation.

key responsibilities:

* work very close to different stakeholders, potential users, developers and others to understand all parts of the product: business, customer experience, concept and technical and serve as a moderator
* understand and get close to the targeted users; design a product they’d love
* understand general business logic and rules
* communicate effectively within all product development areas: developers, testers, dev lead – cto and ux/ui designer
* define and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs
* translate high‑level concepts into clear, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature specifications

* facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, review, and retrospective
* conduct user testing, qa validation, and performance checks to ensure products meet quality standards
* perform product demos and presentations for stakeholders, showcasing progress, validating solutions, and gathering feedback to guide decision making
* measure product performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
* establish and manage feedback collection processes (from users, internal teams, analytics, and stakeholders) to inform and evolve the product roadmap
* ensure transparent communication and stakeholder alignment, managing expectations and trade‑offs effectively

requirements:

* experience in cross‑functional teams
* experience with agile practices/methodologies
* past experience defining products, features and roadmaps
* comfortable interacting with developers and development tools such as teams, slack, github, jira, figma, etc.
* knowledge of concepts related to information architecture and software architecture
* experience providing service to clients in the usa
* comfortable presenting virtually and in‑person, adapting communication style to different formats and audiences
* outgoing attitude and willingness to solve obstacles and generate a product as the market needs it
