General responsibilities:
- receiving and/or identifying business needs and facilitating the appropriate software solutions in line with company standards.
- providing and monitoring system performance to ensure that services are provided at the needed level and identifying corrective actions.
- providing escalated incident support services in coordination with other support teams and the local management.
- root cause analysis, audits and implementation of lessons learned.
- governing and assuring system documentation is current for all deployed environments.
- execute training as needed.
- proactive coaching of the colleagues to improve the effective use of the systems.
- project management services coordinating all needed internal and external resources in order to delivery functionality according to the identified timeline and cost.
this position requires close coordination with:
- local it, network, program, engineering, pc&l, and all levels of management teams.
- the implementation project teams (new lines, new model year introduction etc.)
- external software and service providers.
hours:
- 40 hour weeks are standard but hours outside of normal business hours are required to support project and operational needs.
- travel is expected 25-50% depending on project needs.
the mes application business analyst must have a sense of urgency and ownership of issues and must maintain effective communication channels with site management and gis team members.
experience / qualifications:
- it or it related formal education in programming, microsoft or network management.
- automotive experience in related area.
- mes or plc experience or formal education.
