join global service center (gsc) hsbc to lead and enhance the operating model for the dcs operations function, working closely with global and regional stakeholders across the us, hong kong, and the uk.
role purpose
the role holder will support a globally efficient, controlled operating model, manage trade‐management reporting, and represent dcs operations on regional governance forums. Responsibilities include decision‐making, identifying control gaps, and recommending improvements.
main activities
* support futures operations and manage daily margin calls to ccps (ice, cme, lch).
* reconcile ccp settlements and balances.
* handle daily margin settlements for occ business.
* generate daily margin statements for portfolio‐margin clients on occ.
* coordinate funding and collateral allocation/optimization with business and balance‐sheet management.
requirements
* 5+ years experience in clearing or futures‐related roles, preferably trading at a top‐tier broker or investment bank.
* experience trading exchange‐traded derivatives.
* understanding of vendor platforms (treats, broadridge, algo, xtp/r&n).
* strong analytical and decision‐making skills.
