We are seeking an experienced and results-driven senior commercial sales executive based in mexico city to lead business development efforts across key industrial sectors including automotive, aerospace, pharmaceutical, and advanced manufacturing. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing strategic accounts, and leveraging an existing network and client portfolio to drive sustainable revenue growth. The ideal candidate brings a strong commercial mindset, technical understanding of industrial environments, and established relationships with oems, tier 1, tier 2 suppliers, and manufacturers.this position plays a critical role in expanding the company's footprint in mexico and strengthening long-term partnerships with key industrial clients.ideal candidates must have existing commercial relationships or experience working with companies such as:automotive oems and tier 1 suppliers (stellantis, gm, ford, continental, bosch, aptiv, zf, lear, yazaki, etc.)aerospace companies (safran, bombardier, honeywell, collins aerospace, ge aerospace, etc.)pharmaceutical manufacturers (pfizer, bayer, sanofi, astra zeneca, etc.)healthcare & biotech.supply chain services.industrial manufacturing and engineering service providers.ai & it manufacturing, engineering.key responsibilitiesbusiness development & sales growthidentify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within automotive, aerospace, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors.leverage existing client portfolio and professional network to accelerate business acquisition.develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company growth objectives.prospect new clients through networking, cold outreach, industry events, referrals, and market intelligence.manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.achieve and exceed defined sales targets and revenue objectives.account managementdevelop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers including engineering managers, procurement leaders, plant managers, and executive leadership.act as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned and new accounts.identify opportunities for account expansion, cross-selling, and upselling.ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term retention.commercial strategy & market expansionanalyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.support the development of commercial strategies to expand into new markets and industries.collaborate with technical, engineering, and operations teams to deliver customer-specific solutions.provide market feedback to leadership to support strategic decision-making.proposal & contract managementprepare commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations aligned with customer requirements.lead commercial negotiations including pricing, contract terms, and service agreements.ensure alignment between client expectations and internal delivery capabilities.reporting & forecastingmaintain an accurate and updated sales pipeline.provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance metrics.track kpis and commercial performance indicators.industry representationrepresent the company at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and client meetings.strengthen brand presence and industry positioning within target sectors.required qualificationseducationbachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, marketing, industrial engineering, or related field.master's degree is a plus.experienceminimum 5–10 years of experience in b2 b sales, business development, or account management.proven commercial experience within automotive, aerospace, pharmaceutical, or industrial manufacturing sectors.demonstrated success in generating new business and closing commercial deals.existing portfolio of active clients and strong industry network is required.experience working with oems, tier 1, tier 2 suppliers, or manufacturing companies is highly preferred.technical & commercial skillsstrong understanding of industrial environments, manufacturing processes, or engineering services.proven ability to manage complex sales cycles.strong negotiation and contract management skills.experience working with crm tools and sales reporting systems.language requirementsadvanced spanish (native or fluent).advanced english (professional working proficiency required).key competenciesstrong business development mindsetexcellent communication and interpersonal skillsstrategic thinking and market awarenessresults-driven and performance-orientedability to build trust and long-term relationshipshigh level of autonomy and initiativestrong problem-solving skillsprofessional presence and executive-level communication
