this position will control and analyze the company's inventories, costs, expenses and perform analysis on budget alignment. responsibilities
* collaborate with management to develop a consolidated and finalized budget.
* monitor expense performance and identify trends.
* identify issues and suggest improvement actions.
* conduct cost-benefit or scenario analysis for new projects.
* prepare periodic and ad hoc reports.
* work in collaboration with other departments such as accounting, distribution, and purchasing to ensure accurate financial records and process efficiency.
* prepare investment recovery reports to be submitted to our business partners.
* implement controls for inventory adjustments, reserves for slow-moving and obsolete inventory, as well as processing and disposal of scrap.
* present monthly reports on class b inventory and follow-up on actions to reduce it.
* collaborate with the accounting team in canada to resolve inquiries related to costs, expenses, and inventory.
* establish monthly procedures to collect cost, expense, and inventory information from business units in miami, peru, colombia, chile, mexico, and argentina.
technical skills
* proficiency in data analysis using excel and power bi.
* experience with erp systems.
* knowledge of cost accounting, accounting principles, and budgeting.
* ability to interpret data and generate clear reports.
