mission:
identify, contact, and qualify decision-makers in mid-to-large organizations, building a strong and healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities that can be converted into long-term client relationships. The business development role is key in positioning rocket code as a strategic technology partner, ensuring a smooth transition from prospecting to sales execution.
key responsibilities:
lead generation and qualification
* research and identify target companies across industries such as fintech, insurtech, retail, e-commerce, education, travel, and other strategic sectors.
* identify and engage decision-makers (cmos, heads of marketing, growth leads, digital managers, etc.) through outbound channels such as email, linkedin, and calls.
* qualify leads based on business needs, digital maturity, budget potential, and fit with rocket code's service offering.
pipe line development
* build, maintain, and continuously grow a robust sales pipeline focused on high-value, long-term opportunities.
* track pipeline progress and sales metrics to identify bottlenecks and improve conversion rates.
* ensure accurate and up-to-date information within the crm.
cross-functional collaboration
* work closely with sales, marketing, and content teams to align messaging, campaigns, and outreach strategies.
* provide clear context, background, and qualification details to the commercial team to ensure an effective handoff of opportunities.
market inelligence
* stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and challenges within the marketing, technology, and digital services ecosystem.
* share insights and learnings internally to continuously refine targeting and outreach strategies.
brand representation and leaderhip
* represent rocket code at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility.
* support and mentor junior team members when required, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the commercial team.
requirements:
education
* bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
* master's degree is a plus.
travel requirements
* valid visa required for international business travel (e.g., u.s. visa or equivalent, depending on destination).
* availability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required by clients, events, or strategic initiatives.
* flexibility to attend in-person meetings, conferences, or workshops when needed.
experience:
* 4–5 years of experience in business development, lead generation, or inside sales.
* previous experience in a b2b services, technology, consulting, or marketing agency environment is highly desirable.
* familiarity with digital marketing concepts such as seo, paid media, marketing automation, analytics, and crm platforms.
* proven ability to build and manage a pipeline of opportunities.
