we're hiring a skilled automation engineer to join our high-speed, high-volume manufacturing operations.
this role is essential to ensuring the efficiency, stability, and reliability of our automation systems and infrastructure.
*key responsibilities*
- support and maintain automation systems, robotics, and controls
- monitor and improve automated manufacturing processes
- troubleshoot line control and robotic systems
- program and modify plcs and hmis
- maintain backups and documentation of all automation equipment
- assist with integration of new machinery and software
- research and implement new automation technologies
- provide technical training and support to users
*requirements*:
- bachelor's or technical degree (tsu) in electromechanics or a related field
- valid professional certification or license in a related field (cédula profesional)
- 5-8 years of experience with plc programming and troubleshooting
- strong knowledge of allen bradley plcs and systems control technologies
- experience in high-speed manufacturing environments
- intermediate computer skills (microsoft office)
- excellent communication and project management skills
