key responsibilities:
- lead the design, development, programming, and integration of control systems.
- develop and debug plc code using allen‑bradley (studio 5000) and siemens (tia portal) platforms
- commission and troubleshoot electrical control systems: handle start‑up, diagnostics, field wiring, sensors, actuators, control panels, and communications.
- perform integrated system-level testing (low‑volume, high‑volume) and finalize punch‑list items (software, electrical, mechanical) during sat/fat phases
- collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, software, and commissioning teams to deliver complete solutions.
- produce technical documentation: control functional specifications, wiring diagrams, plc design sheets, network/ip lists, oee flow maps, commissioning checklists, and daily/weekly progress reports.
- provide onsite and remote troubleshooting and technical support to minimize downtime.
what we are looking for:
- 3+ years of experience in the material handling industry.
- proven expertise with allen bradley and siemens plcs (programming, troubleshooting, commissioning).
- experience commissioning conveyor systems, sorters, or robotics (agv/amr).
- willingness to travel and work on-site during project deployments.
- based in mexico city or willing to relocate.
- bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, control systems, mechatronics, or related field.
