role responsibilities:
* ensure the optimal functioning of molds, tools, and manufacturing equipment.
* implement, support, and update maintenance plans, including preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
* coordinate with service providers and manage parts and supplies inventory.
* propose process and procedure improvements.
* support operational questions and requirements from support areas.
* manage safety risks using risk control methods like fmea.
* standardize processes, procedures, and best practices across sites, including outside mexico.
* manage projects from initiation to completion and oversee the project portfolio.
skills, knowledge & experience:
* bachelor’s degree or tsu in aeronautical, electrical, mechanical, industrial, or electro-mechanical engineering.
* 1 to 3 years of maintenance experience with metal structures and tooling.
* experience with polyworks, calypso, and design programs like catia v5, ns, solidworks.
* knowledge of gd&t and interpretation of drawings and tolerances.
* experience adjusting mechanical tooling.
* intermediate english proficiency.
* proficiency in office 360.
