responsibilities
* technical leadership: translate aesthetic concepts from regional and global marketing teams into robust technical specifications, ensuring all new packaging meets quality, cost, and timeline requirements.
* strategic quality planning: define and execute master testing plans and quality protocols to guarantee that new product innovations adhere to colgate’s functionality and safety standards.
* cross-functional collaboration: partner closely with purchasing, manufacturing, and external suppliers to select and develop reliable vendors capable of delivering complex material requirements.
* change & risk management: lead the technical evaluation and documentation for packaging changes, ensuring accuracy of technical data and seamless transitions during first-industrial scale production runs.

required qualifications
* bachelor’s degree or engineering degree in industrial design, packaging engineering, or a related technical field.
* 3+ years of professional experience in packaging development or manufacturing processes.
* advanced proficiency in english (written and verbal).
* proven ability to manage technical specifications and quality compliance standards (e.g., process validation, corrective actions)
preferred qualifications
* in-depth knowledge of plastic processing, barrier lamination, folding cartons, and advanced printing/decoration techniques.
* strong financial acumen with experience in project management and financial analysis of packaging projects.
* experience within the consumer packaged goods (cpg) industry.
* demonstrated alignment with lift principles, particularly in driving innovation and managing complexity.
