In this role, your responsibilities will be:
* liaise with business and itc personnel throughout the region
* assist the us trade compliance manager with:
o reviewing business itc controls, conducting gap analyses, and formulating action plans
o monitoring and updating the archer audit management system
o monitoring and communicating regulatory developments in the region
o support trade compliance manager with training activities in the region
o tracking and responding to inquiries, requests, and other interactions with brokers and freight forwarders
o running ace reports to track section 232, reciprocal, and ieepa filings
o auditing entry summary filings with new tariff requirements
o classify products with harmonized tariff schedule (hts)
o non-preferential country of origin determinations and marking
o free trade agreement qualification analysis and documentation
o antidumping (add) and countervailing (cvd) duty analyses
o restricted party & transaction screening
o customs valuation
o partner government agency requirements
o transaction auditing
o developing and updating local work instructions and procedures
* other itc tasks and projects as assigned
* drive the continuous improvement of trade compliance operations through meticulous documentation and proactive updating of departmental procedures.

for this role, you will need:
* four-year undergraduate degree (or equivalent education outside the u.s., preferably in business, international trade, supply chain, legal studies, or a related field)
* three years of demonstrated trade compliance experience
* excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* good knowledge of us customs law and foreign trade regulations (ftr) (specifically ecfr:15 cfr part 30) and other related applicable import-export regulations such as the export administration regulations (ear)
* experience obtaining and maintaining fta coo's
* ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively prioritize and execute
* experience with tse a plus
* travel up to ~20%
preferred education:
* more than three years of demonstrated us trade compliance experience in the specified region
* graduate degree (e.g., mba, jd, or equivalent education outside the u.s.)
* experience with oracle business systems and/or oracle global trade management and sap
* proficient use of the english language (both spoken and written)
