we are currently seeking a financial planning specialist to join our team in mexico city. This professional will be responsible for generating and maintaining revenue-related information for the nibu (nissan importers business unit), providing financial analysis and proposals that support decision-making from a strategic and financial perspective.
additionally, they will lead key projects aimed at optimizing processes within the department.
a day in the life of this role:
* consolidate and maintain updated databases with key financial and commercial indicators (sales, pricing, margins, costs, marketing, etc.).
* process and analyze data to produce reports and dashboards with relevant insights for financial and commercial leadership.
* automate processes using tools such as advanced excel, macros, and programming (preferably visual basic and sql).
* support the definition and tracking of the annual budget, forecasts, and financial scenarios.
* participate in pricing validations for specific sales events and perform profitability analysis by model.
* collaborate closely with pricing, sales, and marketing teams to ensure financially sound business decisions.
* identify improvement opportunities through variance analysis versus business plans (e.g., revenue deviations, margin fluctuations).
who we're looking for:
* a professional with a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, industrial engineering, or a related field.
* minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning, fp&a, profitability analysis, or similar roles.
* advanced excel skills (including pivot tables, complex formulas, and macros).
* advanced english language skills
* experience in dashboard creation and data visualization (tableau, power bi, or similar tools).
* strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and results-oriented mindset.
desired:
* intermediate to advanced knowledge of sql / visual basic.
