about the role:
as media manager, you will be responsible for developing actionable media plans, managing the acquisition of advertising space across multiple channels, and ensuring alignment with group media procurement & governance policies. Your focus will be on delivering effective media strategies that support the marketing and commercial objectives of ferrero’s brands, while maximizing return on investment and maintaining compliance with contractual frameworks and fiscal year budgets.
this strategic role reports to both the head of region marketing and the area international media manager and is central to driving brand visibility and digital transformation within a diverse and dynamic context.
main responsabilities:
* strategy development & leadership:translate business and marketing goals into measurable media strategies, define kpis, and identify innovation opportunities. Provide local media insights and support content strategies aligned with platform and group/area programs.
* media planning & execution:ensure consistent media processes regionally,from budget setting to post-campaign reviews. Oversee agency proposals, manage key digital partner relationships, and optimize performance across media channels.
* performance measurement & governance: monitor media activity, maintain kpi benchmarks, ensure budget compliance, and validate campaign results through third-party verification and documentation.
* digital transformation & roadmap development: develop a regional media roadmap (12–18 months), integrate data management into operations, and align stakeholders with digital transformation efforts.
who are we looking for.
* bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field.
* 8-10 years of experience in media management, gained within a media agency/media department enviroment supporting fmcg clients
* strong strategic mindset with deep expertise in media planning and buying.
* broad and current knowledge of digital media, including evolving trends, tools, and platforms.
* comprehensive experience across the digital ecosystem: campaign effectiveness, platform management, social listening, and content optimization.
* solid understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and retail environments in the region.
* clear communication and analytical thinking skills to manage complexity and multiple priorities.
* change leader capable of synthesizing data and insights to support strategic business decisions.
