This role will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements to increase operational efficiency and productivity within the manufacturing environment. The position will focus on initiatives aimed at reducing scrap, improving cycle times, and increasing overall process stability and performance. The engineering leader will conduct time studies, line balancing, and workflow analysis to identify waste and optimization opportunities, while also supporting the implementation and sustainability of lean manufacturing, kaizen, and 5s practices across the operation. In close collaboration with production and engineering teams, this person will help execute and follow up on improvement actions, analyze operational data to generate practical recommendations, and support the interpretation and modification of technical drawings and process-related designs using cad and solidworks. Overall, the role requires a hands-on, shop floor-oriented professional capable of driving measurable improvements through disciplined execution.
* bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
* minimum 3 to 5 years of experience leading engineering teams in manufacturing environments.
* advanced english, required for daily written and verbal communication.
* strong experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, and technical project execution.
* knowledge of gd&t, product drawings, mechanical parts interpretation, and 3d modeling tools such as inventor or solidworks.
* experience applying core tools.
* proficiency in microsoft office.
* familiarity with sap or similar erp systems.
* experience working under iso 9001, iso 14001, and iso 45001 standards.
