About the role
as a traffic coordinator, you will collaborate with the materials team, customs team, finance team, and brokers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all materials arriving at the borders are not delayed due to paperwork issues. Additionally, you will support internal customers by providing updates on the status of materials at the border and supplying necessary information to the customs and finance teams. You will also be responsible for creating a tax and customs budget and tracking all expenses to stay within this budget.

* review status of import
* send the instructions for the new export process
* work the broker's inventory and compare with the material in transit
* send all missing documents or new requirements for the import
* review missing parts with no mexican hts code
* review charges from the brokers' services
* attend internal requirements (tracking number status, documents for compliance, etc.)
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in a corporate business environment
* demonstrated ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex issues
* strong accounting and system knowledge with process management experience
* advanced level of communication in english
* self‑starter, ability to leverage cross‑functional relationships to solve problems
* established analytical and project management ability with a simplification/automation/digitization mindset
* excellent verbal and written communication skills
* prior business and/or oracle erp experience
