we are currently seeking a lead api developer (java) - remote to join our team in culiacán, sinaloa (mx-sin), mexico (mx).
- work with stakeholder to gather the requirements
- develop, test and deploy apis
- writi ng tested, idiomati c, and documented java code
- develop microservices and rest api
- communicati ng with external web services as required
- producing, maintaining, and modifying rest apis and microservices
- ensuring apis are developed using industry standard best practi ces
- fixing any issues or bugs that arise
- hands on resource
- mandatory 10+ years of hands-on experience in design and development of restful apis and microservicesusing technology stack: java/j2ee, spring framework, spring batch, aws elasti c kubernetes services (eks), rds oracledb, apigee/api gateway, fuse, mulesoft
- 3+ years of experience, extensive experience with mulesoft, mulesoft developer
- good knowledge on anypoint studio, mulesoft flows, dataweave, mulesoft connectors (rest, soap, mq, jms,http), anypoint platf orm
- experience in api layer security (e.g., jwt, oath2), api logging, api testi ng, creati ng rest api documentati onusing swagger and yaml or similar tools desirable
- experience in tdd, writi ng unit test cases in junit. Unit test frameworks: mockito (java), junit (java);
- nice to have exposure to end-to-end test frameworks: fitnesse/test api, protractor; functi onal testi ng:cucumber; performance test tools: jmeter
- profi cient in sql and stored procedures such as in rds oracle db
- experience with scrum and other agile processes.
- knowledge of jira, git/svn, jenkins, devops, ci/cd
