* lead and oversee accounting, treasury, cost control, credit & collections, purchasing, and stores teams to ensure seamless operations.
* prepare timely and accurate financial statements in line with local and international standards to inform business decisions.
* design and implement internal controls and audit strategies to safeguard company assets and maintain transparency.
* coordinate annual financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to align with organizational goals.
* ensure compliance with fiscal, legal, and corporate obligations to minimize risk and avoid penalties.
* build strong relationships with banks, external auditors, and authorities to facilitate effective collaboration and communication.
* act as an active member of the executive committee, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the hotel and driving business success.
* develop and inspire the finance team, promoting local talent and fostering a culture of excellence.
the ideal candidate will have:
* a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field (mba or postgraduate studies preferred).
* minimum 8 years of senior financial management experience, preferably in luxury hospitality or tourism.
* advanced english language skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
* strong knowledge of accounting standards (nif, ifrs) and mexican tax regulations to ensure compliance.
* solid understanding of hotel operations to provide informed financial guidance.
* extensive knowledge of local, national, and international financial practices to drive business growth.
* strategic leadership, business acumen, professional ethics, and influence at all levels to achieve organizational goals.
