responsibilities
* collaborate with cross‐functional teams to design and integrate vehicle systems that meet functional and customer requirements.
* translate objectives into technical specifications, support benchmarking, and lead innovation and feasibility studies.
* manage suppliers and coordinate hardware/software releases to meet program milestones.
* created and maintain dfmea, dvpr, and cad models using catia, nx, and kbe techniques.
* design wiring harnesses, build boms, and support prototype builds and packaging assessments.
* lead change management (ccd, cn, per), validation plans, and launch support.
* develop and validate high voltage battery systems (hvbs) and author performance standards.
* use google suite and ms office for reporting, communication, and tracking.

qualifications
* bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, computer) or mba from an abet‐accredited university.
* experience in automotive interior product design, lighting development, and simulation tools like speos.
* proficiency in nx, teamcenter, dfmea, dvp&r, gd&t, and mold flow validation.
* strong knowledge of can/lin bus, circuit analysis, and radio head unit architectures.
* skilled in plastic and metal component design, mechanisms, latches, and system interfaces.
* familiar with apple carplay, android auto, bluetooth, wifi, and usb protocols.
* experience with dfss, shainin green/black belt, and quality tools like 3l5y and sbt.
* strong communication, leadership, and cross‐functional collaboration skills.
* hands‐on experience with vehicle repair/modification and tooling feasibility.
* knowledge of powertrain, engine, transmission, and power electronics.
* proficient in ms office and technical documentation.
* experience with cae/cfd and casting/injection molding processes.
* ability to manage multiple complex projects and lead suppliers.
* willingness to travel to plants in the u.s., canada, and mexico.
