We're looking for a global forwarding agent to manage and operate the shipment lifecycle of global freight for our customers.
this role requires detail‐oriented, service‐savvy professionals who can provide swift resolutions to transportation and documentation issues.
responsibilities
maintain operational excellence
understand the processes, documentation, and terminology involved in international shipping from purchase order issuance to delivery.
coordinate tasks on shipments to meet all customer sop requirements: booking approvals, pre‐alert processing, governmental filings, delivery execution, and proper invoicing.
facilitate relationships
collaborate with international team members and third‐party agents to ensure efficiency, excellent customer service, and creative problem resolution.
build great relationships with customers, respond timely, and follow up on issue resolution.
provide reporting and documentation support to internal and external customers.
participate in customer business reviews.
required qualifications
high school degree or ged equivalent.
minimum of 1 year of global forwarding experience.
preferred qualifications
