This role leads all financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial regulations and standards. As our director of finance, you will work in partnership with our general manager, owners, and corporate finance teams to oversee the entire accounting function of our property. This role is a pivotal within the business to ensure that strategic commercial decisions flow through all areas of the operation to ensure productivity and profit is maintained at optimum levels. In addition to month end you will also support the senior team with the production of statistics and financial reports to support decision making across the business. You will also support the operation with the management of permits, insurances, licenses and contracts to ensure they do not lapse and the business remains compliant. Qualifications position is based on-property in mexico city bachelor’s degree or diploma in finance or hospitality/tourism management. A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a finance manager or director of finance gained within a similar lifestyle hotel or large 4- or 5-star hotel in mexico is essential for this role exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills. Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Fluency in english and spanish is a must. Have exceptional written / numerical skills and be proficient in the use of accounting and payroll software candidates should have advanced skills in excel.
