* deploy maintenance strategies aligned with organizational, safety, and quality objectives.
* develop and implement preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs for utilities and production equipment.
* oversee placement, commissioning, and integration of new production equipment to required safety and engineering standards. • support capital equipment upgrades, modifications, and lifecycle‑extension initiatives to maintain operational stability.
* integrate lessons learned and maintenance feedback into design criteria for future assets.
* ensure compliance with fda, iso 13485, eu mdr, and applicable mexican regulatory requirements.
* strong knowledge of polymer processing and rheology for pvc, xlpe, pp, and hdpe.
* expertise in extrusion mechanics: melt‑flow stability, temperature/pressure control, die alignment, and thermal‑profile optimization.
* experience with cv lines, curing‑tube systems, nitrogen control, dew‑point management, and crosslinking dynamics.
* ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and automation schematics.
* proficiency with industrial instrumentation, calibration methods, and inline quality systems.
* root‑cause analysis capability for process instability, mechanical wear, and automation failures.
* bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related technical field.
* 3–5 years of experience in cable extrusion or polymer extrusion.
* competence in office applications, cad tools, and similar technical platforms.
* experience with plc systems such as allen‑bradley, siemens, or equivalent.
* communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
* fluency in and english.
