Job title: warehouse inventory specialist
the primary objective of this role is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of warehouse inventory records. This position is accountable for maintaining and improving cycle count processes, root cause analysis, accuracy reporting, and corrective actions.
key responsibilities:
* maintain and improve cycle count process according to standard work procedures, including part selection, count method and technique, reconciliation with perpetual records, root cause analysis for errors, and process change requests to achieve 98%+ inventory accuracy.
* respond promptly to on-demand cycle count requests generated from operations.
* collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance inventory flow and accuracy (lean manufacturing).
* continuously strive to improve materials management processes in pursuit of excellence (cycle counting, kanban, and audits).
* solve process issues in a timely manner by interacting with relevant departments.
* utilize mrp system and related tools to develop reports that can be used by materials management personnel to monitor, control, and reduce inventory.

* education: high school diploma or equivalent.
* literacy in written and conversational english at a business level.
* education: engineering or business degree preferred.
* minimum years of experience: 1-3 years in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
* advanced mathematical skills.
* knowledge of plant receiving and materials movement processes.
* advanced computer skills (ms office, word, excel) and ability to use plant it programs.
* excellent communication skills.
* demonstrated root cause analysis skills required.
