the role

you will be responsible for:

* outbound prospecting: identify and reach out to potential clients through cold calls, emails, and social media.
* lead generation: conduct research to create quality leads and identify potential customers.
* networking: build and maintain relationships with potential clients and partners through events, conferences, and online networking.
* scheduling meetings: arrange meetings or calls between potential clients and the sales team.
* market research: conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
* qualifying leads: assess the potential of leads to determine their fit for the company's products or services.
* engaging prospects: initiate and maintain conversations with prospects to understand their needs and challenges.
* collaborating with sales team: work closely with the sales team to ensure the smooth handoff of qualified leads.
* tracking and reporting: keep accurate records of interactions, progress, and outcomes, and report these to the sales and marketing teams.
* continuous improvement: analyze performance metrics and seek ways to improve lead generation and conversion rates.

ideal profile

* you have at least 1 year experience ideally in b2b sales / account executive or brand marketing / brand manager within the it industry.
* experience within the industry would be a strong advantage.
* you possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
* you have working knowledge of sales, marketing, market research, and business development.
* you are a strong networker & relationship builder.
* you are highly goal driven and work well in fast-paced environments.
* you possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data.
* you are willing to undertake 0-30% travel.
