you’ll join the automation team within the transportation innovative solutions division. The team develops cutting-edge manufacturing automation that enhances quality and efficiency, supporting molex’s commitment to principled entrepreneurship and value creation.
what you will do
* drive the development and execution of automation strategies that boost productivity and quality.
* lead innovation by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing automated solutions that create measurable impact.
* manage cross-functional teams and projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
* mentor and empower engineers to grow their skills and contribute to an innovative, collaborative culture.
* ensure compliance with industry standards while proactively managing risks associated with automation deployment.
* stay ahead of industry trends to continuously enhance automation capabilities and drive business value.
who you are (basic qualifications)
* bilingual in spanish and english, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
* associate of applied science degree or equivalent in an engineering-related field.
* willingness and ability to travel 10-30% domestically and internationally.
* self-motivated, solutions-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* demonstrated experience or strong interest in automation and process improvement.
* familiarity with advanced automation tools and technologies.
* proven leadership experience managing engineering teams or projects.
