Cloud engineering role
the ideal candidate will be an analytical problem-solver with extensive experience working in a cloud engineering environment, managing large-scale production workloads.
* lead initiatives for infrastructure development and optimization to align with long-term objectives.
* maintain high availability of infrastructure, monitor performance, and ensure infrastructure continues scaling as the organization grows.
* develop immutable infrastructure patterns and automate provisioning using terraform, python, ansible, etc.
this role involves overseeing daily activities and engineering strategies for the datastore infrastructure team, ensuring that millions of users worldwide achieve greater learning outcomes. The team operates across multiple regions.
key requirements
* strong understanding of running production workloads in kubernetes.
* proficiency with tools like terraform, ansible, git, and experience with infrastructure as code and automated provisioning.
* experience with kafka cluster management, topic configuration, performance tuning, and ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
