*essential responsibilities*:
- develops, maintains, and provides insightful financial information to support central finance and senior management.
- assists the finance manager in preparation of the annual operating plan (aop) and monthly financial foreasts.
- provides financial analysis to support monthly operational reviews with line organizations.
- provides a guiding role for the department's financial analysts/cost accountants in developing and maintaining pc-based analytical tools.
- develops successful working relationships with other ae departments, including but not limited to operations and general accounting
- conducts special projects which provide creative and insightful interpretation of business issues from a quantitative standpoint.
- conducts regular presentations to management.
- acts as a contact for both internal and external audit.

works in a standard office environment utilizing standard office equipment.

- prior experience with a financial software package, preferably an integrated erp system.
