We are seeking a production analyst to support our production operations in el rosario - sinaloa by analyzing production and business data, collecting data, manipulating data, identifying areas of improvement, and driving data-driven decisions. This role will work closely with the field, office, and executive teams to ensure data accuracy, generate actionable insights, and support operational excellence. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in both field data collection and business reporting.
key responsibilities:

generate insights and develop reports for the executive teams both in mexico and u.s.
identify operational bottlenecks and recommend data-driven solutions.
support strategic planning using forecasts, kpis, and roi evaluation.
collaborate with production leaders and cross-functional teams to communicate findings and align on goals.
performance evaluation & escalation
evaluate productivity and quality using collected data
use analysis to assess underperforming teams or issues and propose corrective actions.
escalate unresolved problems with written reports and proposed improvement plans.
provide weekly and monthly summaries to decision-makers for transparency.
process & operational understanding
understand daily field, warehouse, and logistics operations within an agricultural or manufacturing production environment.
work with production teams to refine sops and standard operating practices.
coordinate across departments to align production plans with labor, input supply, and equipment availability.
business model & labor management systems
build and implement labor management tracking tools.
integrate labor data into business models for cost and productivity benchmarking.
provide projections for workforce planning based on crop demand, seasons, and historical output.
use the labor management tracking tools to design and establish an actionable bonus calculation system for all field harvesters.
technical skills:
professional proficiency in excel.
familiarity with data visualization software (power bi), statistical tools (sql, python, c#, or r), and form creation platform (power apps, microsoft forms, etc) preferred.
experience with erp and accounting systems is required.

ability to work independently in the field and collaboratively with cross-border and cross-functional teams.
education: bachelor's degree in agriculture, food engineering or similar.
master's degree acquired from accredited university is required, with a major in business analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science.
minors or additional training in accounting or finance highly preferred.
experience: at least 5 years of proven relevant experience in production, agricultural, or analytical role.
demonstrated experience in collecting and analyzing data in real-world environments.
language proficiency
spanish: communication with high professional fluency.
english: intermediate proficiency required for communication with the u.s. headquarters.
working conditions:
must be comfortable working both in an office and field/farm environment.
must be comfortable traveling between field sites and office.
