Responsibilities
In this role, your responsibilities will be to:
- Perform customer quotes based on material availability, installed capacity, process restrictions prior product knowledge to provide satisfactory delivery times.
- Check that the client’s requirements meet the guidelines established during the quoting process through the use of electronic means ORACLE and ensuring compliance with delivery times.
- Manage the daily demand loaded in the system and in process on the manufacturing area to plan the release of work orders considering material availability, installed capacity and system constraints, ensuring optimal flow of units.
- Transfer the daily manufacturing area using the ORACLE system to print work orders (travel travelers) for the start of production demands and also maintain control of WIP or units in process.
- Monitor the orders processed through reports of the ORACLE system and electronic systems to ensure proper flow and avoid delays; provide additional feedback on the progress of orders to customers.
- Monitor expedited and/or urgent orders throughout the process with the main purpose of shipping them based on the customer request date.
- Provide customer service with clear communication, verbal and/or written, to report situations that may affect the delivery of orders on time.
- Maintain close communication with purchasing so that when a component is missing that could prevent releasing an urgent order we inform the customer, and communicate any improvements on the arrival that may occur so we can release the order before or after delays of the components.
- Be responsible for participating in engineering changes, attending scheduled board communication progress, identifying changes to new part numbers in an existing part, in bills of materials and new kits, ensuring activities necessary to keep the system updated.
- Proactively develop procedures and process improvements mentioned above to help customer satisfaction and optimization of resources.
- Prepare reports, metrics and statistics analyzing their contents to facilitate performance in decision-making.
- Manage and control production master plans and establish links with central operations departments for review and analysis of capacity and material availability.
- Know and manage the supply chain through interaction with stakeholders and using ORACLE to fulfill customer orders.

For This Role, You Will Need
- 2 to 4 years as a buyer of raw materials, equipment, machinery and supplies, preferably in metalmechanic.
- Degree and/or Engineering or related field.
