*what you’ll be doing*:
- jumpcloud is looking for a talented quality engineer (qe) to work in our growth engineering team to perform manual and automated testing. The team’s mission is to optimize the user experience, implement new features, and reduce customer friction using metrics and experimentation to improve customer satisfaction and business results.
*we’re looking for...*:
- 5+ years experience with test planning, test case creation, manual testing & automated testing, creating issue tickets, and collaborating in an agile qe process.
- skilled in testing web apps and apis, including setup/configuration of test environments, browsers, and tools.
- skilled in using tools to automate api and web app ui testing, specifically cypress, pytest, python, gherkin, and/or other test automation tools. Willingness to perform manual testing where needed.
- excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to be productive in a collaborative cross-functional team using agile/scrum.
- some familiarity with github with respect to adding code to branches, tagging, and rolling back when necessary.
*bonus if you have the following*:
- experience writing scripts to setup or manipulate data / prerequisites.
- familiarity with testrail or other test case management tools.
- familiarity with a/b testing techniques.
- degree in computer science, technology or related field.
