job description:
we are seeking a highly skilled financial data expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in python and node.js, with hands-on experience building distributed systems, apis, and integrations.
key responsibilities:
* design and implement ai-driven workflows that automate and optimize the onboarding and processing of investment portfolio data.
* build and maintain backend services, apis, and workflow orchestration systems using python and node.js.
* collaborate with data engineers, financial data analysts, and product managers to integrate ai models into production workflows for data validation, enrichment, and transformation.
* ensure scalability, reliability, and security of systems managing large volumes of financial and investment data.
* implement monitoring, logging, and automated testing for workflow reliability and auditability.
* continuously evaluate emerging ai/ml tools and approaches for financial data management use cases.
required skills and qualifications:
* strong proficiency in python and node.js.
* hands-on experience building distributed systems, apis, and integrations.
* solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
* experience working with cloud-native architectures (azure knowledge is a plus).
* familiarity with data pipelines and workflow orchestration tools, such as airflow, prefect, temporal, langchain, or similar.
* experience with structured financial data, preferably portfolio, holdings, or reference datasets.
