Operations manager - last mile delivery
as an operations manager in our last mile delivery team, you will be responsible for leading a diverse team of professionals to ensure the smooth execution of delivery operations. Your primary focus will be on maintaining safety standards, monitoring process efficiency, and prioritizing routine team management and daily operational tasks.
key responsibilities:
* promote a culture of safety and wellbeing among team members.
* analyze performance metrics and implement corrective actions to optimize quality and productivity levels.
* support and lead a team, handle administrative work, and build a strong team culture.
* collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes and improve customer service.
requirements:
* completed bachelor's degree or 2+ years of amazon experience.
* 2+ years' experience in a role with similar responsibilities.
* 1+ year of direct management experience for employees and their performance.
* english intermediate-advanced (b2+).
* fluent in spanish, both written and verbal.
preferred qualifications:
* 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience.
* mba or similar degree.
* experience using lean manufacturing methodologies.
* previous experience as project management.
* experience managing department's kpis and driven results.
