*position responsibilities*
- promote safety awareness by providing support and information to employees.
- identify safety training needs, coordinate training and monitor safety goals.
- take part in new product / process review, including process hazard analysis.
- participate on uline's safety committee.
- review incident reports and follow-up as necessary.
- train new employees on uline procedures and safety standards when needed.
*minimum requirements*
- high school diploma or equivalent.
- *bilingual (english / spanish) - fluent in both verbal and written forms.
*
- 3+ years of warehouse experience.
supervisory experience within a distribution environment *a plus.
*
- forklift certification and reach truck driving experience *preferred.
*
- frequently lift, push, and slide packages weighing up to 50 - 70 lbs.
- available to travel as needed.
