key responsibilities

job summary –

· develops, implements and co-ordinates all marketing communications from branding, advertising, to promotions, public relations, as well as marketing collateral to ensure that all communications carry consistent messages and branding at corporate level.

· reaches share of voice and impressions pr, all social media and e commerce campaign goals goals and kpos as designated by the director of sales & marketing.

· acts as a brand guardian to monitor and manage advertising and marketing communications to ensure all communications are adhered to brand guidelines for brand consistency and integrity on a property level.

· oversee the creation and implementation of the annual and monthly pr social media f&b outlets calendar alongside the marketing manager, which includes monthly sales objectives and initiatives and impact sales objectives.

· own and develop in house social media strategy analyze and suggest strategic 360 degrees initiatives.

· leads the social media coordinator and outlet graphic designer creatively to deliver action plans in line with the marketing plan and brand guidelines.,

essential duties and responsibilities –(key activities)

· develops an annual communications plan with specific goals and budgets as outlined and the property marketing plan/communications manual. Prepares working plans to achieve goals and ensures the communications team of the hotel is fully briefed on goals and progress; and all campaigns are launched on time and within budget.

· ensures that the corporate identity manual is kept up-to-date and being implemented appropriately.

· conducts regular marketing audits for all visuals and collateral for all channels properties.

· supervises and directs photography for advertising, collateral and public relations purposes in liaison with the s&m department of managed properties, the advertising agency and the local community coordinator.

· assists marketing manager in the development of lvp website and participate in the creation and weekly update of the pr and media yearly calendar based on hotel needs

· ensures the department has a comprehensive master slide/photo/cd library for all advertising, collateral and public relations activities and delegate.

· monitors activities of competitor hotel chains and trends within the industry. Measured and goaled on impressions goals.

· performs additional related duties as deemed necessary and appropriate to the communications status.

· is a “brand ambassador” at all times and e nsures brand integrity and clarity are always maintained.

· models the company’s culture, vision, mission and core values at all times.

i. advertising

· plans, develops and launches advertising campaigns to build and increase brand awareness and build up favorable image towards the hotel.

· works with the hotel dosm and advertising agency on tactical promotions such as rooms and food & beverages to drive incremental sales and revenue.

· budget control.

ii. direct marketing

supervise the creation of social media content on property to deliver the brand message and supervise scheduling posts and monitor social media metrics. Monitor and analyze engagement and followers metrics to identify growth opportunities.

· assists marketing manager in planning and coordinating all dm activities as part of integrated communications plans.

· defines, tracks and measures responses of all dm activities alongside the marketing manager.

· control budget.

iii. collateral

· coordinates and executes production of all printed materials, with assistance

of advertising agencies, following the specifications stipulated in the corporate identity manual, if available. delegate local on property collateral to the local community coordinator.

· supervises the production and quality of all collaterals, displays and temporary signage in hotel public areas. Delegate local on property in house collateral to the local community manager.

· supervises and budgets for quality gift items as appropriate. Ensures correct usage of company logo on gift items as stipulated in corporate identity manual, if available.

· audits the information of website is up-to-date.

required skills –

· proficiency in pc, i.e. knowledge of ms word, excel, outlook, powerpoint, etc.

· excellent command of spoken and written english,spanish a plus.

· excellent people skill with experience managing a small team of people.

· detail-orientated; good at figures and presentation skill.

· able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline.

· pro-active and a good team player.

qualifications –

· university or above, preferably in communications or marketing.

experience –

·10+ years experience in marketing communications, preferably in lodging / hospitality industry with 3 – 5 years at managerial level.
