randstad is a leading hr services provider working with a global manufacturer headquartered in north america. The client is launching foundational operations in mexico and seeks a technical sales & country operations manager to build the local footprint.
responsibilities
- lead all sales activities in mexico for oems, tier1/tier2 manufacturers, industrial plants, and end users.
- provide technical guidance and application support for spray nozzles, tank mixing injectors, and air atomizers.
- support customer projects from specification to implementation.
- establish and operate a small local office, acting as the primary point of contact between mexican customers and the client’s headquarters.
- coordinate with hq on forecasting, pricing, inventory planning, logistics, and customer support.
- assist with hiring and onboarding of limited local support staff.
qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technical or industrial sales (spray systems, pumps, valves, fluid handling, process equipment, instrumentation, automation).
- strong sales record with industrial customers, including automotive manufacturing, chemical processing, food & beverage, pharmaceutical/packaging, and general manufacturing.
- ability to explain technical concepts clearly to engineers, maintenance teams, and plant managers.
- fluent in spanish and english.
- engineering degree (mechanical, chemical, industrial, mechatronics, or related).
- prior exposure to competitors such as ssco, bete, pnr, or similar.
- existing network of contacts in mexican manufacturing and industrial markets.
- familiarity with automated or high-volume manufacturing environments.
- comfortable operating independently with limited local infrastructure.
- willingness to travel across mexico.

performance-based commission with additional variable compensation tied to sales growth and new account acquisition.
