Join our passionate team and be part of this global impact.as a *failure analysis technician ii*, you will support product quality and reliability by identifying, investigating, and documenting component and device failures. This role focuses on *mid‐ to low‐level investigations*, working under general supervision while collaborating closely with senior staff, quality, and engineering teams.*responsibilities:* under general supervision, follows established company policies and procedures and applies acquired job skills to identify and research component failures to improve product quality and reliability.* work with senior staff to define failure analysis strategies based on mid-low level investigation trends.* responsible for identifying and researching component failures to improve product quality and reliability.* enter each complaint part/device and investigation results onto a failure analysis database* may provide assistance to junior staff with more general support tasks that require a better understanding of functions, as directed by immediate supervisor.* may refer to senior staff for assistance with higher level problems that may arise.* escalates issues to supervisor for resolution, as deemed necessary.* assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.* using knowledge of product able to provide reliable output on mid to low level investigations as directed by supervisor.*qualifications:* high school diploma required.* associates degree in electrical / mechanical or related technical field preferred.* 0 - 4 years' related technical experience preferred* ability to perform component level troubleshooting with general supervision desirable.* ability to read and understand schematics and assembly drawings is a plus.* good understanding of mechanics.* visa to travel to us is required.* *bilingual (english / spanish).
