Chief Revenue and Core Operations Officer (CROO)


INTRARE’S MISSION 🚀


Intrare is a social startup that connects people from diverse and vulnerable groups to fair, formal employment, lifting them out of poverty — from refugees and migrants to single mothers, youth, the LGBTIQ+ community, older adults, and people with disabilities.


Through our inclusive recruitment platform and proprietary AI that minimizes bias, we help companies access this underutilized talent while improving their retention and productivity.


We have already served over 150 companies and 16,000 candidates in vulnerable situations and are now on our way to reach millions.


HOW WE DO IT


1. We create a pool of diverse candidates. Right now, we find most of them via Facebook ads and partnerships with NGOs
2. We partner with medium and large companies who need to hire talent for positions like retail, customer service, call centers and logistics
3. Our AI platform matches candidates with positions, minimizing bias and maximizing fit between company, candidate and position
4. We have support areas like Finance and HR that help us manage our resources, plan, bring the right people to our own team and keep an inspiring culture.


YOUR MISSION 🌿


As second in command, your mission is to lead areas 1, 2 and 4 to help Intrare become EBITDA positive while scaling our impact exponentially for candidates in vulnerable situations. Your focus is on identifying how to monetize better with a stronger value offer for clients, understanding both their and our vulnerable candidates’ needs, and to deliver this, growing and optimizing our user (candidate) acquisition and success, as well as our sales and customer success. You lead operations and supervise our support teams, ensuring all areas are aligned.

YOUR STRENGTHS 💪


(1) You have a lot of experience and unique abilities in..


1. Value offer, monetization and process-driven sales from zero

* Defining and adjusting monetization and go to market strategy.
* Identifying how to improve the value proposition and delivery for clients to monetize better and faster.
* Executing the go to market with a small team.
* Setting up sales from zero at a very early stage startup (pre- 2 years) and scaling to $1M USD+ revenue.
* B2B sales experience with annual tickets sizes of 10-15,000 USD/ year per client.
* Selling HR, finance, or ops solutions (ERP, CRM); ideally with HR decision-makers.
* Building process-driven sales functions, optimizing sales processes, and developing sales teams (you are not the PR/events person),
* Highly organized and structured.
* Optimizing and running customer success from fulfillment to engagement.


2. Analytical, process-driven and engineering mindset

* Approaching challenges with an engineering mindset: always asking “why,” identifying needed data, and using it to improve results.
* Building and optimizing processes.
* Setting KPIs that give clarity, tracking them, and running regular reviews to align, iterate, and improve quickly.


3. Paid media & early growth strategy

* Managing or closely involved with very early stage B2C growth strategies.
* Understanding of paid media and ability to design strategy, get into the details, build a small team to execute under your guidance.
* Learning a new area fast.


(2) You have experience and are strong in..


1. P&L ownership

* Managing your own P&L in collaboration with the CEO and finance team, with autonomy and accountability.


2. Org design, KPIs, HR & People

* Mapping and adjusting team structures, identifying missing roles, and reallocating talent.
* Setting and tracking the right KPIs, establishing follow-up systems, laying bare problems, and fostering accountability.
* Managing teams and growing each team member, while remaining very hands-on.
* Building a culture of empathetic communication, feedback and radical candor.
* Recruiting A-players and acting quickly when fit is not right.
* Being the company’s face toward the team.


3. Contributing to product strategy

* Identifying product improvements or pivots necessary to significantly increase sales or customer success.
* Translating customer and user needs into product features and vision.
* Ensuring strong communication between sales/CS teams and the product team.


OUTCOMES OF THE ROLE 🙌


1. Bring Intrare to EBITDA positive while growing our impact exponentially

* Develop and execute an improved monetization plan to reach EBITDA positive within 3 years.
* Base the plan on client needs, fulfillment challenges, candidate needs, impact goals, and margins.
* Break the plan into executable steps and implement it.
* Define iterations and product improvements with the product team.
* Continuously review pricing and business model, adjusting to client and candidate needs while optimizing for impact growth and profitability.
* Hold teams accountable for delivering on goals.
* Identify and remove growth bottlenecks.
* Manage your P&L autonomously.


2. Build a strong Growth B2C team and operation

* Hire and develop a high-performing team.
* Define Growth B2C strategy for candidate acquisition.
* Lead the team in optimizing Facebook Ads acquisition.
* Optimize targeting (individuals in poverty, informality, vulnerable groups) and cost.
* Achieve 100k new candidates within 12 months.
* Ensure 90% support and 25% success rate for candidates.


3. Build a strong sales and customer success operation

* Deeply understand client needs and challenges.
* Strengthen customer success to help clients hire inclusively at a bigger scale, grow contracts, and ensure fulfillment.
* Optimize sales and customer success processes and operations.
* Coach existing team and hire additional team members.


4. Strengthen support operations

* Oversee finance and admin, HR admin, HR and people, recruitment, legal, and business intelligence.
* Finance & Admin: Hire key team members and strengthen processes and results.
* Strategic Finance: Work with the CEO to strengthen the financial and impact model.
* HR & People: Build a simple but solid function; make key hires.
* KPIs and OKRs: Set clear metrics, coach the team to meet targets, review progress regularly and ensure accountability.
* Org design: Regularly review structure with the CEO, defining key roles needed.
* Impact Communication: Ensure the development and execution of an impact communication plan.
