In this job, your responsibilities will include accomplishing tasks within the lead time for the import/export process according to each internal customer and type of operation, tracking and following up on import and export shipments, managing trade compliance programs, preparing reports, reconciliations, and monthly metrics.
in this role, your responsibilities will be:
1. follow-up of foreign trade operations
o management of customs brokers and carriers
2. communication and follow-up with internal customers and suppliers
3. ensuring compliance with programs such as archer, audits, reviews, and procedures
4. participating in oea projects
5. maintaining and complying with established metrics:
o area
o carriers
o customs broker
6. preparing reconciliations such as inventory, sat reports (glosa), and commercial invoice conciliations
7. delivering monthly presentations
8. managing logistics/cass and sco program reconciliations, trainings, and troubleshooting
9. participating in audits and self-audit programs
requirements for this role include:
* bachelor's degree in foreign trade, international business, or a closely related field
* 3-4 years of experience in foreign trade, with expertise in:
o customs law, regulations, government permits, and mexican rules
o oea certification
o rgce
o immex program
o annex 22, annex 24, annex 30
o iva & ieps, ctpat certification
* management of electronic foreign trade files
* experience handling customs brokers and carriers
* ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
* strong collaboration and teamwork skills
* effective communication skills across organizational levels
* organizational and prioritization skills, with problem-solving abilities
* capability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
* ability to work under pressure
