key responsibilities
* jira/confluence administration: configuration, customization, and optimization of atlassian tools to support business processes.
* plugin/integration management: installing, configuring, and maintaining atlassian marketplace apps and custom integrations.
* migration & upgrade projects: supporting cloud migrations, system upgrades, and environment consolidations (server/data center to cloud).
* workflow design: designing and implementing workflows, permission schemes, and custom fields to meet business needs.
* scripting & automation: developing automation rules and scripts using tools like scriptrunner, automation for jira, or rest apis.
* consulting & best practices: advising stakeholders on atlassian best practices, licensing, and scalable usage.
requirements
* proven experience working with jira, confluence, and other atlassian products (bitbucket, jira service management, etc.)
* strong understanding of atlassian system architecture and administration
* experience with cloud and/or data center environments
* familiarity with agile, scrum, or itsm frameworks
* proficiency with rest apis, groovy scripting, jql, or automation tools
* english proficiency (written and spoken) is essential
* located in mexico
nice to have
* atlassian certifications (acp-100, acp-600, etc.)
* experience with ci/cd pipelines, devops, or itil environments
* consulting or client-facing experience
* experience with enterprise migrations or large-scale atlassian environments
