About the role
the mx product engineer mat will play a critical role in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing assembly technologies for products within the mexico facility. This position is responsible for ensuring that product engineering solutions meet quality, cost, and delivery targets while aligning with corporate standards and customer requirements. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve technical challenges. minimum qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related technical field.
* 3+ years of experience in product engineering or manufacturing engineering, preferably in assembly process development.
* strong understanding of manufacturing assembly technologies and production processes.
* proficiency in cad software and data analysis tools.
* fluency in english and spanish, with excellent communication skills.
preferred qualifications
* experience working in the automotive or electronics manufacturing industry.
* knowledge of lean manufacturing, six sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
* familiarity with quality management systems such as iso/ts 16949 or iatf 16949.
* advanced problem‑solving skills with experience in root cause analysis tools like 8d or 5 whys.
* project management experience and ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
