Business development role overview
we are seeking an experienced business development professional to lead our ocean freight team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining key relationships, and driving revenue growth.
key responsibilities:
* identify and qualify new potential clients within the international trade sector
* develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts to drive business growth and expansion
* prepare sales forecasts, management reports, and present results to senior leadership
requirements:
to succeed in this role, you will require a bachelor's degree in international business, engineering, business administration, or a related field, along with at least 5 years' prior industry-related business development experience in ocean freight. Fluency in english is mandatory, and proficiency in using crm tools and microsoft office 365 suite is highly desirable.
