Job summary
we are seeking a skilled labor relations specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing labor relations, personnel administration, and applicable legislation on labor matters.
key responsibilities
* support the regional administration of unionized personnel, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* manage information regarding new hires, terminations, status changes, disciplinary actions, and vacation.
* document processes and integrate personal files of unionized workers.
* participate in localities, attending to labor authorities, external offices, and mixed commissions.
* manage correspondence, filing, and delivery of documents to unionized personnel.
* provide guidance and support to unionized personnel in resolving requests or requirements.
* follow up on training plans for unionized personnel.
* carry out personnel hiring processes, additions, terminations, and changes.
* communicate with local union representatives and provide accompaniment to workers who suffer injuries during work.
requirements
* graduate in law, industrial relations, or business administration with an intermediate level of english desirable.
* aptitude for dialogue, knowledge in managing labor relations, personnel administration, and applicable legislation on labor matters.
* pc management skills, communication, and group management skills.
