Introduction
we are seeking a production supervisor to join our manufacturing operations team. You will be responsible for coordinating and organizing manufacturing activities in a timely and cost‐effective manner, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and production standards. This involves overseeing production execution, managing personnel, and ensuring proper use of materials and equipment. Your role plays a crucial part in maintaining operational efficiency and achieving production targets, which will positively impact on‐time delivery and continuous improvement. In this position, you will report to the production leader.
this position is mainly located in irapuato and requires availability to rotate shifts, work weekends or holidays as needed. It follows a 4‐days on / 3‐days off schedule (12‐hour shifts) and may require occasional travel (1–2 times per year).

you will join a team of manufacturing and operational experts dedicated to ensuring safe, efficient, and high‐quality production processes. The team strives to meet production plans, continuously improve operations, and support personnel development within the manufacturing area.
we are currently working on daily production execution, kpi tracking, continuous improvement activities (kaizen, 5's, 8d's, spc, smed, etc.), and cross‐functional problem solving.
we work closely with internal stakeholders such as maintenance, logistics, planning, human resources, and suppliers to ensure machines, materials, and talent are available when needed. Our team culture is built on safety, collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Team members are located across various operational areas within the facility.
what you'll do
* coordinate and oversee daily manufacturing activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.
* execute and fulfill the production plan while ensuring proper handling and validation of raw materials and wip through sap.
* organize, assign, and supervise operational staff according to the training matrix and internal work regulations.
* monitor and analyze key performance indicators (kpis) such as oee, hour‐by‐hour performance, and machine downtime, presenting and following up daily.
* apply manufacturing problem‐solving tools (pareto, 5 why's, spc, fishbone, smed, 5's, 8d's) for continuous improvement of processes.
* collaborate closely with maintenance, logistics, planning, hr, and suppliers to guarantee timely availability of resources and equipment.
* authorize vacations, overtime, and personnel incidents, ensuring adherence to company policies.
* ensure correct application of safety and quality procedures, including mold changes, stopping production when required, and generating risk observations.
who you are
* hold a bachelor's degree in engineering (industrial, electronic, mechanical, or similar).
* bring at least 2 years of experience supervising people and managing production operations.
* possess intermediate english skills and solid computer proficiency (excel, word, powerpoint, outlook, teams, sap).
* have knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling inventory, quality records, and product design specifications.
* demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* excel at organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast‐paced environment.
* are open‐minded, collaborative, and willing to share knowledge while maintaining strong supplier and internal stakeholder relationships.
* nice to have: experience with machining and press equipment, and familiarity with kaizen methodologies and 5's practices.
