job description:
* develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to optimize logistics services in the north america region.
* collaborate with regional procurement organizations and operations partners to ensure seamless spend management, supplier discovery, vendor selection, and sourcing execution.
* monitor key performance indicators (kpis) on service delivery, resolve price discrepancies, and disputes with vendors to support sites and meet customer requests efficiently.
* align sourcing strategies with regional and local business needs, leveraging extensive market knowledge and supplier networks.
* drive year-over-year savings in logistics costs, improve working capital, develop suppliers, and collaborate with vendors to drive digital strategy and innovation programs.
* build strong sourcing capabilities within the organization, supporting the delivery of successful logistics services regionally.
required skills and qualifications:
* bachelor's or master's degree in business, engineering, law, economics, or supply chain.
* good verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills in english.
* minimum 3-5 years of experience in us procurement in relevant categories.
* proficiency in erp systems (sap/oracle), office 365, procurement tools, and sourcing tools.
