We are looking for a key account manager to oversee a small portfolio of key pizzeria accounts, ensure proactive support, and drive growth.
the role
this is a full‑time position with working hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Est. The role will oversee a team of key account managers, manage a small portfolio of key accounts, handle escalations, cancellations and customer complaints, and partner cross‑functionally to apply the shop success checklist. The successful candidate will also coach the team and contribute to their development.
qualifications
* 4+ years of experience managing enterprise-level clients in a b2b or marketplace environment (experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is highly preferred)
* strong track record of individual performance
* proven ability to manage complex, high-value accounts with a focus on retention and growth
* proven ability to handle customer complaints, escalations, or high-risk situations with calm and clarity
* demonstrated ability to mentor peers, bring a positive mindset, lead projects, share best practices, and serve as a trusted point of contact for team support and guidance
* evidence of strong analytical ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies to improve performance metrics
* strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
* proficiency in salesforce, slack, excel, and other account management tools
* fluency in multiple languages (english & spanish) and proficiency on the slice platform, products and our customer base is a strong plus
