As a cybersecurity analyst supporting our pci team, you will play a key role in strengthening our payment security and compliance posture across the enterprise.
position purpose
the cybersecurity analyst will support the home depot's pci compliance program by partnering with technology and business teams to prepare for assessments, perform control testing, support activities, coordinate audit requests, and help drive remediation efforts. This role focuses on data gathering, analysis, collaboration, and execution to ensure pci requirements are met consistently and effectively.
key responsibilities

* support pci control testing activities through evidence collection, validation, and documentation
* analyze assessment results and identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement
* leverage established cybersecurity and compliance standards to support accurate outcomes
* collaboration (30%)
* partner with control owners, technology teams, and business stakeholders to support pci assessments
* act as a liaison between pci requirements, auditors, and internal teams
* participate in working sessions to clarify evidence needs and control expectations
* drive execution (40%)
* coordinate audit and assessment requests and track progress to completion
* support remediation activities by documenting findings and following through on action items
* provide recommendations based on testing results and compliance findings
preferred qualifications
* experience supporting pci dss, payment compliance, or technology risk programs
* exposure to control testing, evidence collection, and audit support activities
* strong communication skills with the ability to explain requirements and findings to technical and non‐technical partners
* experience using issue tracking or workflow tools (e.g., jira)
* familiarity with compliance reporting, dashboards, or analytics (tableau or power bi preferred)
