Overview
training coordinator ii – johnson & johnson medtech, ciudad juárez, salvarcar site
the position can be located in the quality department at the juarez campus of johnson & johnson. The role manages the system of identification and assignment of training requirements, coordinates evaluation of trainings, maintains the training module for new recruits, and oversees training records. The position may supervise or work directly with other staff and generally reports to the training specialist or department manager.
responsibilities
* coordinate and conduct the training process for new recruits.
* manage and maintain curricula and training records.
* maintain the training electronic system.
* support curricula development for functional trainings in operations for new products or production lines.
* coordinate and conduct training in regulatory and operational modules as required.
* monitor and ensure training compliance for contractors.
* prepare information related to training for external mexican legal agencies/entities.
* support training area during audits/inspections.
* prepare training reports for the metrics system.
* maintain training area resources (equipment and materials).
* provide training programs as required and communicate relevant situations to management.
* ensure training systems comply with health, safety and environmental regulations at federal, state and local levels.
* manage department expenses and generate purchase orders.
opcert (if applicable)
* create and modify training material related to the opcert program for production needs.
* coordinate certification training for quality assurance technicians and operators (presentations, manuals, materials, rooms, etc.).
* coordinate opcert certification for candidates in salvarcar plant manufacturing areas.
* document activities according to the opcert certification program and keep records for audits.
* create, revise and approve exams for certification in compliance wire; coordinate certification implementation with quality assurance and manufacturing.
* update certification status in compliance wire; review training records to begin certification.
* file program documentation; maintain and remove documentation as applicable.
* provide opcert reports and metrics; support audits when required.
* enter trainings related to the program in compliance wire to complete certification.

* follow health, safety and environmental guidelines; ensure subordinates comply when applicable.
* ensure personal and company compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
* perform other duties as needed.
qualifications / requirements
experience and education
* technical or truncated career (2+ years)
* 2 to 4 years of experience in training (preferred)
* experience with fda and european regulatory environments
knowledge, skills, certifications & affiliations
* ability to communicate in english, orally and in writing
* gmp/iso knowledge
* knowledge of cross-training planning
* knowledge of training systems (preferred)
* presentation skills
* understanding of ministry of labor and social prevention requirements
* computer literacy and strong communication skills
* experience in fda/european regulatory environments
