leisure sales manager

key responsibilities:

">
* drive transient sales growth to maximize revenue.
">
* develop and implement strategic sales plans, setting smart goals and managing forecasts.
">
* establish competitive rates and deployment strategies through market analysis and data review.
">
* represent the hotel in community and industry events, fostering partnerships and business relationships.
">
* lead by example, motivating team members to deliver exceptional guest service and achieve individual goals.
">
* coordinate transient bookings to optimize profits and meet or exceed established targets.
">
* initiate and follow up on leads, ensuring timely conversion of opportunities into revenue-generating business.
">
* monitor top account production and evaluate trends within the market, informing proactive sales strategies.
">
* ensure timely completion of all activities within the sales department, adhering to company policies and sops.
">
* stay up-to-date with market developments, anticipating revenue opportunities and adjusting sales approaches accordingly.
">
* meet or exceed established performance metrics, demonstrating a proven track record of success.
">
* collaborate with other department personnel and venue staff as needed to ensure seamless operations.
">

* communicate effectively with employees and external partners, providing clear direction and support.

* remain calm and composed under pressure, serving as a role model for team members during emergency situations or high-activity periods.

* make informed decisions and take actions based on previous experience and good judgment, revising procedures as necessary to accommodate unique situations.

requirements:

education and experience:

">
* bachelor's degree preferred.
">
* minimum five (5) years of sales leadership experience in similar-sized operations required, preferably in upscale or lifestyle brand hotels.
">
* comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage, catering sales, conference services, and marketing management.
">
* basic understanding of legal contract language.
">
* proven team leader with high energy and motivation, living the company's values.
">
